Every false flag, and its fix
Every time Mizan's anti-cheat flagged someone who wasn't cheating, what caused it, and the fix. Each one below is fixed. We add a new one here the day we find it.

Aim checks against real people's mouse movement
What happenedReplaying 101 people's recorded mouse movement through every rule found aim and input checks that fired on ordinary human hands.
The fixEach of those checks was rewritten, or made report-only, until it found nothing on all 101.

A regular player on mobile data
What happenedBefore the VPN rules went live, a replay of 329 real players' addresses found one long-time regular whose phone network an outside provider listed as a proxy. Found before launch, so no one was refused.
The fixEvery community can now always allow a player, a network or an address, and a hosting network never refuses anyone on its own.

Clean players on a busy server
What happenedA client check flagged a different handful of clean players each time it ran, because the game itself sometimes ran the check slowly.
The fixThe check now runs in a way the game can't slow down, with its limit set again from hundreds of real players.

A server owner flying and moving around in noclip
What happenedFalling after noclip, a view turned by an admin tool, and a server's own addons replacing some of the game's files each read as a sign of cheating on the owner's own account.
The fixThe checks now know noclip, views the server itself turns, and files a server replaces on purpose.

A player standing idle on Linux
What happenedA client check read the slower start of a Linux PC running the game through Proton as tampering.
The fixThe check now allows for how Proton runs the game.
What every rule is held to now
- Nothing on real peopleBefore a rule can act, it must find nothing on 101 people's recorded mouse movement and our own staff's play, then run live on Justified's Garry's Mod servers, which more than 1,500 players have joined.
- Two kinds of proofA case opens only when an AI model and a detector that measures something else both alarm, unless an exact check of the game's own numbers fails.
- Report-only until provenA new rule tells Mizan's staff what it would have done, and acts on no one, until it has passed both.
