Who Runs Mizan

KORDU LTD runs Mizan, at mizan.ac and api.mizan.ac. It's a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16836154, with its registered office at First Floor Office, 3 Hornton Place, London W8 4LZ. KORDU LTD also runs Justified, a Garry's Mod DarkRP server.

Mizan and Justified

Mizan is Justified's anti-cheat and ban registry. The anti-cheat runs on Justified's game servers, and what it catches goes on the player's record here in Mizan's own name. Justified's staff hear appeals against its detections and can clear a record. Mizan on Justified explains how it works there.

justified.gg and mizan.ac show the same record for each account. An account that has played on Justified has its main page on justified.gg.

What Mizan Reads

Mizan reads the public ban lists game communities publish on their own sites, most of them SourceBans pages, and files each ban under the account it names. Every ban stays its list's claim, shown under the list's name and in its own words. Organizations registered on Mizan can also send their own bans through the API.

Ban lists names every list Mizan reads. How Mizan works explains how each one is read, what the labels mean and how accounts are linked.

Reaching Mizan's Staff

Email contact@mizan.ac, or write to the registered office. The contact page says what to send for a dispute, a privacy request or a security report.

To dispute a ban, start with Disputing a ban: most bans are the community's to lift. Appeals against Mizan's own anti-cheat go through a ticket on Justified's Discord.
