After initially losing the police, he circled back around the area to find more officers. Once he found more, he rammed their vehicles again. When the police ignored him, he made a U-turn and struck them once more. Later, upon hearing gunfire near the business district, he drove straight into an active shootout, nearly running over an officer at high speed. This prompted officers to open fire on his vehicle. Despite being shot at, he continued to loop around, causing officers to shoot at the car he was in. After fleeing the scene of the shootout, drove recklessly and totalled the person's car.".
